Yesterday there was this HUGE Seiyu Sale. So naturally, my mom and went to the nearest biggest Seiyu at Bugis. Wheehee!! My mom was looking for bedcovers. I got bored ok!! Bored to hell.. She was like: "Friven.. where's Friven?" *Picks up one that looks good to her and walks around for 15 minutes browsing through more covers* "Eh?!? Quilt cover ah? I don't want!" *Puts it back* -SIGH-
Then we went to look at KITCHENWARE! Freaking hell.. "Wah! This anodized iron pan very good leii.. non-stick!!" *Stares at it and turns it around and around and aorund for..5 minutes* *Looks at price* "Wah 100 over dollars! I thought it's supposed to be a sale?" *Puts it back* AIEEE!!!
Then we went to the clothes section. Ok la... Seiyu clothes are awful. Except for the Levi's one.. too expensive tho. Walked around... Freaking crowded!! And there was this man.. Ok nvm.. If I see him again I will smack him up, down, left, right...and DIAGONALLY!!!
Woohoo~ We got to the accessories department and I went crazy. So did my mom. OK..She was more crazy than me.. She went around picking earrings and showing them to me. I was slowly browsing through and she kept shoving earrings at my face. Anyway.. I'm glad that I tahan her shopping idiosyncrasies earlier..Because she was in a good mood to spend money. And she blew 70 bucks on me. I got 3 earrings and a necklace. The necklace has a matching earring to it. Butterflies encrusted with purple gems. Lalala~ I regret not getting the star ones.. and the dolphin... THE DOLPHIN!! It keeps haunting me.. it was really cute.. >.<

"SOS please someone help me~"

Lol... Rihanna sang that. Or was it Rhianna.. Whatever. On Wednesday I had to stay in the kitchen like a trapped animal. My mother was cooking up a feast for her boss' brithday today... And had me help her with the preparation on Wed.. So, I had to peel ONIONS [why...why...why], garlic... de-skin [lol I don't know the term ok..] kunyit, ginger, lengkuas. OMG! Yes..Lynn remembers all the names of the seasoning stuff. Stuff. My fingers are now stained yellow because of the kunyit. What's the term in English? I don't know and don't care. By the way, some of you may be thinking... "So what? Just a lil bit of work" NOT if it's plate after plate of those stuff. I don't mind garlic.. BUT ONIONS! I remembered once... I put on goggles [yes, those you use for swimming] when I had to smash the onions. There's the ELECTRONIC blender, but my mom said "No. It tastes different if you smash them". Had to use the heavy stone bowl + smashing thingy... thingy [haha! MY VOCAB OMG!!!].

My mom kept making sarcastic remarks: "Lynn I know you can cook. But I think ah.. you want to cook dinner must start at 6 am. If not ah... I think your family starve already."
"If you kena my mother ah.. you would get beaten up already" [Okay I thank God for taking her away and not letting her meet me.]
"You chopping or sayang-ing the onions??"
"You see la... People who don't stay in the kitchen are inexperienced. I know you can do.. but it's how FAST you do it."
I'm scared of the knife laaa!!! Haha. I'm very careful when peeling or chopping stuff. Aha! Not de-skin!! PEELING! >.< -sigh-
P.S.: I'm handling the food mommy. I can at anytime decide to put an extra "pinch" of salt or an extra "dash" of pepper. And you know that I could never estimate properly. =)

In conclusion, I'm not made for the kitchen. But!! I can cook + bake. Just take a longer time. Don't play play ah.

Yesterday was fun!! The longest time I spent with dar... Met at 1pm... okok.. 130pm.. since I was late.. LOL! And we went home at 1030pm.. =) Go PS makan at SMG[Short Mary Gold..j/k la..LJS]. Dar played at the arcade and got pwned by a computer player [muahahha]. Walked to Heeren... I PIERCED MY EARS! Yeah.. I was against putting holes in my body for like... 10 years.. I expected that gal at 77th street to maybe put alcohol or something to numb the area before she freaking gunned me.. And it felt really hot after awhile.. T.T Dar scareded lor.. make me pierce first.. T.T He pierced one side. Looks nice =)

Ah..then.. we walked to Taka and went to watch some street soccer match held by Nokia. The racist beside me was rooting for whichever team that had Chinese players. But as I had expected... the team with Chinese players lost horribly. Hurr Hurr. Just stick to bball. Keke. Somehow we ended up in the library. AIRCON! Then... I was late to meet my sec classmates. =X Ming Hui had to call me and was like "We waiting for you and you're walking at Taka??" haha. Hilarious.. When can Lynn ever be on time?

OMG! Went Orchard MRT and I expected to see at the very least.. half the class? OMG!! Only like.. 7 inclusive of moi turned up. PATRICK who actively joined us in deciding where & when to meet did not turn up.. BLEH! So... only Yunting, Melissa, Eva, MingHui, YuYi, Liji came.. T.T But

there's still me and dar. Dar felt comfortable which is good. Lol! Liji grew taller... the gals got prettier, MingHui is a walking fashion house. Went to Heeren to meet up with YuYi. Then Liji as usual.. got lost somewhere at SCGS [what was he doing there huh?] Somehow we ended up on the same bus as him when we wanted to get to PS. Ate at Thai Express. I swear I'm going to order rice next time. Their glass noodle tom yum was FREAKING hot. [I tried to hide the fact that it was too hot for me to handle.. but failed miserably..] Dar and YunTing offered me their water.. I wasn't allowed to drink my Sprite... T.T Eva wanted to call Fire Brigade... T.T Dunno who said that Singapore would get dehydrated.. T.T But it was yummy. We took pictures.. which I'm lazy to upload..so will have MingHui send them to me thru MSN. After that.. tata~ Cos I was tired... PS---> Heeren ---> Taka ---> Heeren ---> PS. Lol..

Okay! Now what did we talk about? Lol.. We were trying to recall our classmates. Talked about Shaun's BIG HANDS. Liji still remembers that I'm very competitive with Shaun during Maths... Then... MingHui said I grew fatter.. and my pudgy baby-like hands were attacked by the LyChee.. T.T Ok la.. I agree. Lol. Hmm.. talked about driving. Bleh.. "If Lynn drive very scary..the car move but like no one driving" Haha!! At least it will move.. If Liji drive.. it won't move. He won't know where to put the key in. =) Eva was the life there. Still noisy!! Haha! But she's so funny. So.. Eva is in her 2nd year in IT, YunTing and Melissa are in 3rd year.. MingHui is attached to Jurong Island.. to do some research.. Liji is serving NS as a medic. Sigh.. wouldn't it be better if the entire class came down? Boo... Dar joked a lot with them.. and they thought he was Malay.. So they were surprised when he talked in Chinese. LolLolLol!

BUT! It was fun. Although I reached home tired and all. I took out the studs and tried to put them back.. But it was so difficult caaaan?? T.T Yeah.. I just woke up. I'm a piggy. Lol.

Ahh...long time no blog. Anyway... I inherited my bro's old PC system. 120gb and I have nothing to do with the space. My bro now has 160+250=410gb. Shiok lor...Imagine all the games, animes, games, manga, games, music, games he can store in that CPU... Lol... Hope he gets into the new Computer Science course in SIM. Something to do with Gaming Design. Or else he'll be a driver for PSA. X)

On Monday dar came over to watch Ice Age 2. =)
My mom was home tho... it was so awkward [why does this word always look wrongly spelled even tho it's spelt right?]. -BLEH- He had to eat a whole bowl of honeydew tofu beancurd thingy that my mom made. Kudos to him 'cos I myself can't even stomach a mouthful. He liked it but there was too much. I hate it 'cos it's mushy and slimy and it's basically...like porridge. Eeee~ Then...played Gunbound. I pwned the games. =X iLu dar!

Today my mom's work colleague came over. She's a PJC grad...one of the first batches. I think she was from first batch... Came over to upload some pics of her and her boyfriend. You see...her parents don't know of him and she wants to keep him a secret till... I don't know. It was shot on his birthday and my mom was commenting on the pics. They're your average bf/gf pics... And she started asking ME questions... I don't like the questions. "Oh... do you do THAT too?" etc.. Privacy...privacy...privacy please..

Aha! It's from a book I dug up in the Mega Book Sale @ Expo. Please, it's not about SEX SEX SEX. It's called The Truth About You...where there's loads of tests and fun information on your intelligence, creativity, social skills etc. I stood in line for about 45 minutes to an hour to get two books. Torture! And the John Little sale was WORST! The queue was so long, it circled round to the back.

Anyway, I like to think that most women have an IQ over 130. Or at least, the femme fatales I know have IQs over 130 or else I wouldn't be talking to them. [So evil right?] I'll post snippets from the book. Really interesting stuff...although some... I would choose not to believe in. For eg --> tall children have a higher IQ than their shorter counterparts. I believe it's ONLY an impression. Taller children are treated as if they are more mature. Height-based expectations. But of course, we ALL know that short people rock. =)

Was supposed to go out last night... then some insurance woman came over to talk to my parents. I vaguely remember her from my past. And she keeps saying the same things every year. "How are you doing now?" "Wah, big girl already" [F U... I'm small okay.. LOL..] I had to sit at the dinner table and listen to them talk about the future and whatever. Bored to hell. But I couldn't show attitude because my mom would grill me later. Btw, cold war ended. Muahaha.

Tonight going out for dinner. Tonight the spastic + autistic brother is coming home and would stay till Sunday night. Spastic + autistic = spastautistic. Pronounced as spas-tau[tor]-tis-tic[tik]. I've upgraded my insults from "idiot" "mofo" "as*h*le" to "he-bitch" "man-whore" "gay-slut". All inspired from Deuce Bigalow...European Gigolo's pimp.

Yay..I'm getting my own computer and we'll be having a wireless router. You know what that means. Wooo~

Been bowling for past 3 weeks. 2 times a week on Tues and Thurs. My dad training for his APB tournament. I average at 90 to 110. Yay? lol.. Used to be 40 - 50 ok... See.. I'm improving! haha! But I get intimidated easily. Like just now... this pro bowler with a wristguard did spins. so cool la.. the ball was balancing on the EDGE and it TURNED...like SERIOUSLY turned and striked. T.T and he was in the lane beside ours. Oh well.. at least I don't bowl into longkang anymore. Whee~ Why I like bowling? Air-conditioned, great music, fun, competitive. Ok.. competitive is because I like to compete with my dad. I compete with everyone XD. And why the heck were there so many AES boys?? Noisy freaks. All can't bowl =X

Ya..ya.. I haven't been online often this week. Whatever. I entertained myself with MOVIES! Ice Age 2, Big Momma 2, V for Vendetta, Origins of DaVinci [docu] etc. Movie junkie.. Ice Age 2 is hilarious... Ellie and her possums.. Go watch!! It's endearing and funny.

My mother is angry at me again. She yelled at me and I kinda tuned her out. Something about "GO GET A JOB! STOP BEING SO LAZY! I DON'T WANT LAZY PEOPLE IN MY HOUSE!!" and she cursed me a lot also..saying how rude I am...blah blah blah. Then she left the home with my brother... and I finally have the computer. Heck... My father told her "Later she run from home how?" And my mom replied "Run la.. Don't come back also better" Gee... I enjoy making your life miserable since you make mine so horrible...thus, I'm staying put. I wonder how long the cold war will last.

Anyway... tonight gonna meet Pei Shi about some logistics & distribution biz. No idea what's it about.. but I wanna get out of the house. I can't stand it. Argh!!! I don't mind working, as long as I have a friend with me. I realised that I picked a lot of roadshow jobs... I love roadshows. As long as it's promoting some cool stuff. Added celebrities joining in is a plus. Lol.

Zzz... I think my parents are the only ones who want their child to work. Bah... And last night I got irritated like I've never been irritated before. I have zero privacy in this house, and an autistic, spastic elder brother.

Anger aside, I dreamt last night. I was playing Gunbound. The catch is, I was sitting in the nak as though it were real life, not in my computer chair. Anyway, I played as nak and pwned others. I couldn't see them, but I saw their IGN hovering on top of the vehicle. One was recognisable... enriquewar. LOL! My real gunbound friend. Then, I switched to a mammoth. That ice mammoth. And it Freaking talked. I named it Manny from Ice Age. He told me what angle to use, and when to let go of his reins. Yes, for the nak I used buttons. And for Manny, I used reins. lol. Again, we pwned. Then I woke up. LOL!

This morning, which btw starts at nine for me, I got into a fight. Pretty funny. Hazaha, my bro's ex-classmate who sucks at all games, IM-ed me and asked me to train him in GBWC. I replied: "Hie.. what's up gal?" Thing is, it's a guy. But you cannot blame me, or my sleepiness since I just woke up, because his name is a girl's name. Firstly, when you say out the name it is light and breezy. A girl's name trait. Secondly, there's way too many letter "A" in the name. "A" is also a feminine letter. The first point is stronger. Ha-Za-Ha. So light, so soft when you say it out. Note how this paragraph is in a light and soft colour?

Ok.. I wrote the above to piss him off.

It's gonna work!! Wahaha!

I saw my friend's MSN list. She grouped them in a rather funky way. I'm going to do the same. Hers though, is according to Heat no 1, Heat no 2. Go figure.. My list has a collection of Malay-Chinese mixed blooded ppl. It's nice to have such a network. Haha!!

The kitchen is currently over-run by ants. And my mom made me kill them. I don't mind killing the adults. In fact, I don't really feel a thing towards these exo-skeletal creatures. I LIKE squishing them with clear sticky tape and counting my spoils after I'm done. [Muahahha, I used to compare who captured more ants with the brother] Then, while I was happily sticking ants to the tape, I saw a baby ant. It was freaking tiny and cute. LOL! I couldn't bring myself to tape it and went to find other adult ants. My mom said: "Lynn... if you see the baby ants don't pity it ahh" T.T I will not kill them. Period. They grow into adults, then I'll squish 'em with the tape. =D

Last but not least, *ahem*, I'm not a SAD person. Even if I were SAD, I wouldn't resort to THAT, to cheer myself up. I'm pretty content with MOJO and JOJO! And playing with your hamsters is not SAD. It's pretty fun. I can't help if I'm tri and go for anything that moves.. Doesn't mean I'm horny. Lol!

Watched King Kong last night. Yes..again.. And I cried...again. Actually, I told myself not to cry for that ape a third time. Funny, but, I think I practically bawled throughout the show. Even in the slower, lighter moments of the movie, I cried. So I wondered...why did I cry? What was it about the movie that made me so touched? Could it be the cinematography? The plot? The powerful direction? Maybe even the landscapes... And I decided it was all that.

For example, the scene where Ann and Kong's silhouette is outlined against a setting sun. The first time, it was a friendship, pure and true, forged between man and beast. The second time, on the building, we find that this friendship, maybe even a hint of love, is broken.

I find Kong really cute in a way. The way he throws tantrums, laughs, has fun sliding on the ice... He doesn't seem like a beast at all. More of an overgrown friend in need of a companion.

They said that beauty killed the beast. I think it saved him. Kong lives like "a king from where he came". Even kings get lonely sometimes. It's nice to die, knowing you finally got what you wanted. Kong wanted a companion, and to glance upon beauty amid dreary landscapes. And I think he'd rather die, than live without Ann. In a way, part of Ann dies as well...

Shucks... I'm getting sentimental. The funny thing is... I watched some Stephen Chow movie on Ch8 after King Kong and was laughing like crazy. -.-
