I like Oscar the Grouch. In fact, I admire him! It's not easy being green, and stressed at everything that goes on outside the dumpster. Gosh... he lives in a RUBBISH BIN. You've got to hand it to him! Not a typical Sesame Street character though. Way too angsty. He's happy when he's angry, and angry when he's happy. Very entertaining!
Cookie Monster is my next favourite Muppet. "Cookie is a huge terry-cloth mass of greed, gluttony and astonishing lack of self-restraint" Haha!! Probably the most Zen Muppet you will find on the show. His moral message, a beacon for our scattered lives: "C is for Cookie, and that's good enough for me."
Bleh... Sesame Street... Grew up glued to every episode. And I remember how the show psychos you into remembering the letter and number of the day. The Count...talk about obsessive-compulsive behaviour. 1,2,3,4,5,6...12. =.=
