LOL...I've been following this series, where two brit ladies go around cleaning houses. OMG!!! The houses featured are GROSS! Dead mice, mold, overdue food [up to 3 yrs mind you], and dust, dust, dust! I think i inheritated my mom's cleanliness streak. It's horrible to live in a dirty house. ARGH!! DEAD MICE IN THE AIR-CON UNIT!! Who can live in such a pig sty?? Pigs are even CLEANER! haha!

Who could forget the Cadbury tune on TV? I did. Some TV ads have the most catchy tunes, altho i don't remember the purpose of the advertisement. Anyway, the latest tune in my head is this: L is for the way u look at me O is for the only one I see V is very very extraordinary E is even more than anyone that u adore... and Love is all that i can give to you.. Love is more than just a game fore two..
Haha.. and I don't know which advert it came from. =)
Anyway, I like the song Crazy - Simple Plan. The tune!! omg... Very pleasant, and meaningful lyrics. I'm going crazyyyyyyyyyy!!

Mmm...Vodka Mudshake - Vanilla. There's another flavour, I think it's strawberry. This is a pretty tame drink...can be taken like coke. 4% alcohol/volume. Nice flavour, something like buttermilk with vodka. My mother drank a whole bottle faster than me at the chalet. -.-
This was our chalet's fridge. Mind you, when we got there, it was empty. We filled it up with these junk. The horrors of my family. This explains why we're so, let's put it as, blimp. The chalet was a pretty long time ago, and I forgot to blog about it. We didn't do much, except relaxing in the chalet. We did not get the VIP one, so no Xbox there. And it was raining a lot. In other words, we were trapped in an Xbox-less, air-conditioned, tiny chalet, with a well-stocked fridge, and meaningless TV shows. There you go! But it was fun. Dinner was FUN! Ate cockles and made an alien out of the shells. Too bad I didn't get a picture of it. My nephew who dropped by with his mom and grandmother was greatly entertained by my cockle creature.

I finished The DaVinci Code over the weekend. Overall, it's great. But the plot is quite guess-able. For example, I guessed that funny Sir Leigh Teabing was the Teacher, and that the Holy Grail was a tomb. Ok, the latter was some wild guess that nagged on my mind from a little background knowledge. I watched Chrono Crusade, a Japanese anime, that followed Brown's version of the Grail. And it featured Mary Magdalene's tomb. But, alas, both protagonists died, making what would have been a great anime, crumble.
Now, I'm reading Digital Fortress. Haha... Wth am I doing reading books, when i have never finished reading Jane Eyre, my A level literature text. LOL!

I'm currently reading Dan Brown's The DaVinci Code. A good book, "blockbuster perfection", interesting. And I got so involved in the story, that it no longer remained as just a tale. I decided to play private investigator and checked up on every single "fact" mentioned in the book. Everything went through strict checks on the Internet, through friends and self experimentation. For example, theDivine Proportion or the PHI. I measured my proportions [Yes, I use the same standard measuring tape as everyone else, and see no need to use anything shorter like a ruler], and lo and behold, 1.618 or somewhere near it.
Sorry if you don't know what I'm talking about; it just shows how ignorant you are to miss reading such a thrilling book.
Then, there's this discrepancy between the 666 glass panels supposedly used to construct the Louvre Museum in the book, and the actual one in reality. I watched a show on great architectures and it featured the above mentioned musuem. Said in that documentary, the museum was constructed from 673 glass panels. I should let Dan Brown off this investigation of mine and treat it like any other storybook.
I still have hundreds of pages to go through, and 3 more of Dan Brown's crafts. So you bet that I would be a bookworm for the next few days.

Have you seen [a certain brand of beer now to be known as X] packaging for CNY? The one with the faceless man with a moustache and beard, holding a cup of the famed beer? Well, he doesn't look very Chinese to me. -snicker- More of a mixed, or maybe he is a Craig David fan, with the moustache-beard-clean shave. Then, there's the TV advert on X. Jessica Alba, bigshot Hollywood hottie. All she does is say a little, mention Singapore's name, and take a sip of the beer. X paid her about $5million to make her do that. Of course, she did a few more similar adverts to be aired in other countries, but...$5million!! I wouldn't drink X just because Alba's drinking it. But maybe some would, in hopes of turning out as beautiful or talented as Alba darling.
Then there's the plain poster adverts. Asahi beer? Can't get anymore blatant about their wish to oust out their Green Bottled rivals. "Soon you'll prefer silver" is their tagline. Be a little more subtle yet give a strong message, don't make your rivals laugh.
Well, i'm no advertisement critic, but it just irks me to watch and look at such advertisements. Amusing, but, it wears thin after awhile.

Yes. 2006, the Year of the Dog.
So pardon me for any bitchy comments or posts made this year. Interestingly, I came across a Fenghui book for those born in the Year of the Rabbit. My love life, work life, luck and fate this year was determined by that darned flimsy excuse of a book. Yes, fate was determined by that elusive fengshui master. It said that Rabbitans [us rabbit babies], would lead a wonderful 2006 together with Piglets [those pig babies]. And then, next year, somehow...the fengshui would be bad, and we have to find ourselves a Dogger, Rattian, Goatian or Dragonite. Yes, rabbits aren't very loyal husbands/wives.
So, we'll see how this year turns out to be. And congratulations to all the female babies born this year. I hereby christen all, bitches.
